Happy Children's Day : Anti-Poverty Campaign at Swarnima Academy

Every year, students of Swarnima Academy celebrate 'Children's Day' with real enthusiasm. Actually, they contribute this day, to the society. They want to eradicate an evil of our Indian Society - Poverty.
Poverty, as they've already studied in their Text Books and heard, they know it is about those people who can't even earn a day's livelihood to survive. Not everything is Government's Responsibility.
In advancing new Indian society, poverty is like a nightmare, thus they decided to organise such events every year, and have developed a community of their own - 'Young swarnima', and they spend their time in distributing Eatables like Breads, and thermal wears for the winters. Their location of work today was Shani Mandir, Ranchi.

Bhai Dooj : The Brother-Sister Thing! :-D

Nowhere is the bond of brotherly-sisterly love glorified with such grandeur as in India. Hindus celebrate this special relationship twice every year, with the festivals of Raksha Bandhan and Bhai Dooj.
After the high voltage celebrations of Diwali, the festival of lights and fire-crackers, sisters all over India get ready for 'Bhai Dooj' - when sisters ceremonize their love by putting an auspicious tilak or a vermilion mark on the forehead of their brothers and perform an aarti of him by showing him the light of the holy flame as a mark of love and protection from evil forces.
